NYMR | DIESEL HELLFIRE ON THE MOORS LINE! (14.08.2025)

An afternoon at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway on the Red Timetable. On this day a temporary steam ban was in place on the heritage line between Grosmont and Pickering, with steam still working the train between Whitby and Grosmont. Locomotives working the services on the day were BR Class 37 (37688) ‘Great Rocks’, BR Class 37 (37264), BR Class 47 (47077) ‘North Star’ and LMS Black Five (5428) ‘Eric Treacy’ working the train between Whitby and Grosmont.
