The Greenland Whale Fisheries

Another fine tune that I have arranged and decided to share with you all, please feel free to leave comments and to subscribe if you would like! About the song: From Ossian press: British whalers of the late 18th century were the first to adopt this ballad and it soon became a favorite with other seamen. The earliest version goes back to 1700, the actual ship's name is "The Lion", and her commander was a Commander Speedicutt. First printed as a black letter ballad before 1725.
