Multi-day hike and sleeping in caves in Bushmen's Nek - Drakensberg

Discovering remote trails and sleeping in caves is our idea of a fantastic getaway. For three days, we didn’t encounter another human being — not on the trails, not in the valleys, and not even in the distance. Surrounded by the majestic Drakensberg Mountains and covering long distances on foot, the experience was deeply revitalising, reflective, and humbling. Three days of wilderness, simplicity, and complete immersion in the mountains. Starting from the Bushmen’s Nek area, we spent our first night in Lammergeier Cave. The next day we took the Knuckles Traverse before spending our second night in Tarn Cave. On the final day, we made our way back to Bushmen’s Nek Gate.
