Bikepacking Redding | Whiskeytown Expedition

Welcome to Redding, California in late April. This was a fun one for sure. I met up with a group that came up from Sacramento to go bikepacking out to Whiskeytown for the night. Many from the "Back From The Dead" crew showed up on their beloved 26" rigs. Others rolled on various all-terrain bikes. The ride started off near the Redding Adventure Hub bike shop. From there, we hit up the nearby pump track and then jumped on the river trail to head towards the Whiskeytown National Recreation Area. We then camped at Sheep Camp next to Brandy Creek.
