Goo Goo Dolls’ John Rzeznik on the blackout that made him get sober

Goo Goo Dolls founder and lead singer John Rzeznik opens up about his lifelong struggles with alcoholism, recalling that he once laughed in his wife’s face after she gave him an ultimatum. He recounts how he decided to check into a rehab facility after blacking out and waking up in a trashed hotel room next to a guy he’d met only the night prior, and how it took him 15 years of trying to get to reach one year sober. #soberlife #music #interview For ad-free content, early access to full interviews, and exclusive behind-the-scenes content with Graham and the crew, become a member here: https://bit.ly/4yskgOs Subscribe to watch the latest interviews: http://bit.ly/1R1Fd6w Episode debuted nationwide in 2026.
