Our Day 26 of the Bengaluru to Ladakh road trip began early at 4:00 AM in Rishikesh, as we started our journey towards the divine destination of Badrinath Dham! ❤️ After an early morning start, we reached Rudraprayag around 9 AM and stopped for breakfast. We enjoyed some delicious hot aloo parathas along with Bisi Bisi Chai before continuing our mountain journey. The drive towards Badrinath was an unforgettable experience, with breathtaking Himalayan landscapes, beautiful valleys and winding mountain roads. After almost 7 hours of travelling, we finally reached Badrinath around 4 PM! After checking into our room, taking some rest and freshening up, we headed straight for the divine darshan of Badrinath Temple. 🙏 About Badrinath Dham: Badrinath Temple is one of the most sacred Hindu pilgrimage destinations in India. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, who is worshipped here as Badri Narayan, it is one of the four sacred Char Dham pilgrimage sites and one of the 108 Divya Desams. Situated on the banks of the Alaknanda River, surrounded by the magnificent Himalayas, this ancient temple offers a truly divine atmosphere. Visiting Badrinath and seeking the blessings of Lord Badri Vishal was a memorable experience! After darshan, we explored the local street food of Badrinath. From piping-hot jalebis and delicious samosa chaat to fried rice, we enjoyed some lovely evening treats. We finally ended our food exploration with a comforting glass of hot badam milk! 😋 With beautiful memories, divine blessings and a satisfying food adventure, we returned to our room and called it a day.
