Starring Madhuri Dixit, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Amrish Puri, Paresh Rawal and Reema Lagoo, Arzoo was released in 1999 and directed by Lawrence D'Souza. The film was mainly shot in Mumbai, with additional filming taking place in London and Edinburgh. The story follows Pooja, played by Madhuri Dixit, whose life takes an unexpected and heartbreaking turn. But years later, Vijay is revealed to be alive. His return changes everything. Seeing Pooja married to Amar, Vijay believes false rumours about the accident and sets out for revenge. As secrets, misunderstandings and painful truths unfold, the lives of Pooja, Amar and Vijay become deeply entangled.
