9/11 25th Anniversary Remembrance Ceremony

Honoring 25 Years Since September 11, 2001 This morning, members of the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office and Tulare County Fire Department came together at TCSO Headquarters to remember the lives lost during the September 11th terrorist attacks and to honor the first responders who answered the call. 25 years ago, our nation watched in disbelief as the attacks unfolded in New York City. In the midst of unimaginable tragedy, firefighters, law enforcement officers, paramedics and everyday citizens showed extraordinary courage and selflessness. Today’s ceremony gave us an opportunity to reflect on the nearly 3,000 lives lost, recognize the sacrifices made that day and in the years that followed, and honor the lasting legacy of those who ran toward danger to help others. We are grateful to the Tulare County Fire Department, local law enforcement agencies, and community members for joining us in remembrance. We will never forget.
