A walk through Genoa, Italy 🇮🇹 Our walk begins at the beautiful Cathedral of San Lorenzo, before continuing to Piazza De Ferrari and its famous fountain. From there, we explore Genoa’s elegant streets and galleries, before reaching Piazza Corvetto, with the equestrian statue of King Victor Emmanuel II, the first king of unified Italy. The walk then continues through the city’s residential neighbourhoods, revealing another side of Genoa: narrow streets lined with tall buildings standing close together, with characteristic façades in shades of ochre, yellow, beige and terracotta. Built between the Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding hills, Genoa is a remarkably dense city — a geography that has shaped its narrow streets, tall buildings and distinctive urban landscape.
