Dual Sport adventure with David and SkiMum Christmas Valley, Hart Mt, Shirk Ranch, Sheldon to Nevada We are well underway as David and I ride from Bend Oregon to Tucson, Arizona on our fourth 4000 mile trip riding all dirt roads. In this episode we show you Christmas Valley to Hart Mountain and beyond ….we meet some hunters who “bag” a pronghorn a sought after tag and huge accomplishment, we see wildlife, beautiful vistas, and share with you what’s next as we cruise into Nevada. We’re calling this “Tacos in Tucson” In the last three trips, we have made it to the Grand Canyon, but we have yet to dip down below into Arizona so that is our goal for this year Thus far we have met so many interesting people from ranchers to miners to fellow motorcyclist who are riding FAST on Ducattis on the paved roads from San Francisco to Yellowstone, these folks are from all over the world We only come in on pavement when we have to connect dirt roads, get gas, get food, get water, and then it’s back to the dirt connecting the trails together David has trails, He’s already scouted this is where the name Giant Loop” originated from (as well as his invention of the Bag system, which we still use an iteration of today, now we use the Altrider hemisphere. Another one of David’s inventions)…. These giant loops, as well as some BDR trails, which David also helped out with, as he shares his navigation experience furthering the sport, connect together with our new routes. It’s a blast! David has much experience navigating these roads and finding “ways” we use a Garmin as well. We repeat roads we’ve already found and find new ones. We’re still finding new ones. We camp off the bikes, mostly but get the occasional hotel to clean up.  We are currently on the trip NOW!! today in real time is day 14, Since we started on Sept 6th.  Tonight we are sleeping at the “Butch Cassidy Inn” in Circleville, Utah, so we’ve made it quite a ways. I could bring these videos faster if I had the bandwidth. But cataloging the footage creating content and getting it out over the World Wide Web when you’re off the grid proves to be quite an exciting aspect of this trip!!
