Tosa Forward Interview

What’s happening in Wauwatosa — and how do you keep up with all of it? I recently sat down with Wauwatosa resident and longtime journalist Dave Paulsen, the founder of Tosa Forward News, to talk about his effort to bring more dedicated local journalism to our community. Dave shares why he saw a gap in Wauwatosa news coverage and what inspired him to do something about it. We talk about covering city government and the school district, telling the stories of interesting people in our community, and why local journalism can be so important for busy residents who want to stay informed. We also talk about the Tosa Forward News email and website, the new print edition, how readers can help support his work, and some of the fun neighborhood stories that remind us that not every news story has to be “big news” to matter. And Dave wants to hear from you! If there’s an interesting person, event or story happening in your neighborhood, you can send your story ideas to editor@tosanews.com. Thanks to Dave for sitting down with me and for helping keep Wauwatosa informed and connected! — Beth Jaworski Shorewest Realtors I’d love to be your Realtor! #Wauwatosa #TosaForwardNews #LocalJournalism #LocalNews #WauwatosaWI #CommunityNews #BethJaworski #Shorewest
