Stützpunkt Rommel: type 700 bunker en anti-tank wall met Tobruks - Ritthem

Stutzpunkt Rommel with anti-tank wall and Tobruks - Ritthem We start nearby Fort Rammekens at the PAK bunker 700. The bunker of type 700 is the only remaining specimen in Europe. A second one was built just where the wall in the north starts now, but it was demolished. We follow the wall north to the farmyard at the Trekdijk. A part of the tankwall in the Welzinge polder has been demolished. The tankwall has several built-in tobruks and shootingholes for rifle or Mg. The works in the Wn Rommel were realised up and around the ancient fortress Rammekens.
