Join me on a peaceful journey along the Lincoln Highway as we travel west from Paradise to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This stretch blends wide open farmland, charming small towns, and lively urban scenes, all set to the natural ambient sounds of the drive.
🌸 In downtown York, we pass under rows of blooming Bradford Pear trees, while historic Lancaster offers colonial architecture and city life in motion. Watch as we cross the iconic Veterans Memorial Bridge (1930) in Columbia, gliding over the Susquehanna River into more quiet countryside.
Other highlights include:
Quaint main streets in Abbottstown and New Oxford
Sweeping farmland and hills
Walkable historic districts packed with historic Americana
🏞️ Follow along on the official map! Many thanks to the Lincoln Highway Association for publishing a detailed map of the original route and allowing screenshots to be used from it: https://www.lincolnhighwayassoc.org/map/ - follow the purple line on the map, from east to west

This video is part of my ongoing road trip series driving the entire Lincoln Highway, one of the oldest coast-to-coast routes in the United States. The footage is recorded in real-time with no narration - just the sights and sounds of the road.
