THE LOST BOYS (1987) First Time Watching Movie Reaction

The Lost Boys (1987) We're heading to Santa Carla for one of the most iconic vampire movies of the '80s! The Lost Boys has been on my radar forever, and between the vampires, motorcycles, ridiculous amounts of hair, and an absolutely killer soundtrack, this was exactly the kind of spooky-season movie I was hoping for. Directed by Joel Schumacher, The Lost Boys stars Jason Patric as Michael, Corey Haim as Sam, Kiefer Sutherland as David, Jami Gertz as Star, Corey Feldman and Jamison Newlander as the Frog brothers, Dianne Wiest as Lucy, Edward Herrmann as Max, and Barnard Hughes as Grandpa. This movie has SO much personality. It's horror, comedy, teen movie and '80s rock video all rolled into one, and Schumacher absolutely commits to the style. The boardwalk, neon lights, leather jackets, motorcycles and music give Santa Carla this wonderfully heightened atmosphere where it somehow seems perfectly reasonable that vampires would be hanging around. #TheLostBoys #TheLostBoys1987 #KieferSutherland #CoreyHaim #CoreyFeldman #JoelSchumacher #80sMovies #VampireMovies #HorrorComedy #CultClassic #MovieReaction #FirstTimeWatching
