Dire Straits - Communique - Guitar parts - Part 1/2

This video shows how I play some of the guitar parts to Communique, title song from Dire Straits' second album. It's the first of two videos I've made. This one shows me playing the various riffs in order using a rudimentary backing track I made in Garageband. I've also got a second video that breaks the song down and hopefully shows you how I play all the various parts. This isn't a note-for-note transcription, just an example of how I try to play it. Sorry, no tabs. I wish I could, but I'm just not a tab guy. Check out my Part 2 video and see if it answers your questions.
