Do Not Edit the Timeline Keep it whole First things first: this method works best if you haven't made any cuts yet. You want all your clips synced as full tracks (which act as your camera angles). 2 Find the Timeline in the Media Pool Go up to your Media Pool and locate the timeline that contains your synced clips. 3 Convert to Multicam Right-click on that timeline in the Media Pool. In the drop-down menu, select Convert Timeline to Multicam Clip (or "Convert Compound Clips to Multicam Clips" if you nested them). Your timeline icon will instantly change to a Multicam icon. 4 Create a New Timeline for Editing Now, right-click that new Multicam clip and choose Create New Timeline Using Selected Clips, or just drag it into a fresh timeline. 5 Enable the Multicam Viewer To start cutting, make sure your viewer is set to Dual Screen Mode. In the bottom left corner of the left viewer, click the drop-down menu and select Multicam. [Outro] "Now you'll see all your angles at once! Just hit play, and click on the different angles in the viewer—or use the number keys on your keyboard—to make your cuts in real-time. When you're totally finished, don't forget to right-click your clip and select 'Flatten Multicam Clip' so you can color-grade your original files easily. If this saved you a bunch of time, hit that like button and subscribe for more DaVinci Resolve tips. See you in the next one!" #multicamaras #davinciresolve
