8 hours layover in Taipei-is it worth it?

A Taipei layover offers a chance to see the famous landmarks in Taipei. This day tour is a DIY on our part. We chose to go to Chiang Kai-shek Memorial, Yong Kang Street, and Taipei 101. The tallest building in the world from 2004-2010. We spent C$42 on our fare and spent C$50 on our food, snacks, and drinks. Not bad for a simple day tour expenses. The Taipei 101.
