ತೆಂಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನುಸಿ ಪೀಡೆಯ ಹಾನಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಿರ್ವಹಣಾ ಕ್ರಮಗಳು( Management of Eriophyid Mites in Coconut )

Eriophyd Mite is telescopic in nature. it cant be visible by naked eye. it enters the coconut from the below surface of the perianth. if the gap between peduncle and the nut is more, more will be the damage. once it enter the coconut it will suck the sap from the nuts. Them main reason for the attack is Poor nutrient management. However the attack can be checked by maintaining the good nutrition to coconut plants. Application of Potassium, and Micro nutrients in the required quantity will help in getting the increased resistance to attack by this pest.
