2 World Trade Center Construction Progress - September 14 2026

More progress on the base and around the exterior of the upcoming 2 World Trade Center has been made. More temporary fences and walls have been installed, the corridor to the entrance of the Vesey Street Transit Lobby has been extended in size to make access easier before complete closure later this month, and most of the see-through windows on the temporary walls have been covered up. A new memorial commissioned by the WTC Memorial Fund honoring Port Authority workers who died in the 1993 and 2001 WTC attacks has been installed in Liberty Park.
