Keestrack R3e Zero Nigeria

In Nigeria, the Keestrack plug-in electric R3e ZERO impact crusher is working in asphalt recycling for the Benin–Asaba Expressway project. It is one of the first ZERO (machine without combustion engine) installations in Africa. The mobile crusher processes excavated asphalt (500 mm) to 0-12 & 12-25 mm to be reused in the highway project. Europe, the USA, and many other countries have advanced, heavily enforced safety regulations which do not apply in Nigeria. Although the machine has the highest standards on safety the workers around the machine are lacking personal protection equipment.
