At 68 & 71, We Still Do Everything Ourselves | Mountain Village Life

Another busy summer day in our little mountain village. 🌿❤️ At 68 and 71, my husband and I still take care of our home, garden, animals and land by ourselves. There is always something waiting to be done! Today, Grandpa has plenty of work around the farm while I spend time in the garden, gathering fresh zucchini and checking our summer harvest. 🥒🌱 After months of planting, watering and caring for everything, seeing the garden full of fresh food is one of the best parts of summer. Life here isn't always easy. The days can be long and tiring, but this is the life we know and love — working with our hands, growing our own food, caring for our animals and enjoying the simple things around us.
