VOYAGE #01 — THE DISTANT LIGHT | A Captain’s Story

VOYAGE #01 — THE DISTANT LIGHT A Captain’s Story The sea was my workplace, and the light of home was my destination. For many years, I have crossed oceans, left countless ports behind, and spent many nights looking beyond the horizon. But wherever the voyage took me, there was always one light waiting in the distance — the light of home and family. “THE DISTANT LIGHT” is the first chapter of VOYAGE, a musical story inspired by my life at sea as a captain and a husband. This English version shares the same story as the original Korean song, 「그 불빛을 따라간다」, but was recreated to flow naturally as an English song. VOYAGE is a journey through departure, the open sea, storms, solitude, homecoming, family, and eventually returning to sea once again. This is where the voyage begins. A good voyage is remembered not only for its destination, but for the seas we crossed along the way. 🎵 VOYAGE #01 THE DISTANT LIGHT A Captain’s Story Korean Title: 그 불빛을 따라간다 Music & Lyrics: Captain Kim Video: AI-assisted visual production CAPTAIN’S OCEAN MUSIC Music from the Sea, Stories from a Captain. #VOYAGE #TheDistantLight #ACaptainsStory #CaptainsOceanMusic #OceanMusic #Captain #Sea #Voyage
