The Shape of Modern Art

I wrote this essay for a class I was taking, which is why the subject is so specifically about Morris and Judd, but the idea that contemporary artists are producing shapeless crap is still relevant in my opinion. The world is full of fantastic shapes, but modern artists only seem capable of producing stripes, dots, and polyhedrons. Sad!
