Grassroots Peacebuilding via Model UN for Youth living in Conflict Zones and Divided Societies. SDG 4 & SDG 16. Model United Nations - MUN - is a prestigious extracurricular programme engaging hundreds of thousands of students all around the world. In recent years, top students interested in gaining practical skills in research, public speaking, and negotiations, for some MUN can be truly life-changing. Meet and learn from Jewish Israeli and Palestinian teenagers who, despite studying in separate schools in different languages, have met, debate, and become friends via Model United Nations, providing a striking example of the role that MU can play in grassroots peacebuilding.
