🌱 Saving Together, Growing Together: Stories of Transformation from Nyamasheke District Through the sheCan Project, supported by the World Food Programme (WFP), and Mastercard Foundation and implemented by world relief Rwanda members of Tuzamurane Kajumiro Village Savings and Loan Association (VSLA) in Nyamasheke District are strengthening their livelihoods through savings, skills development, mobile technology, and access to finance. From coffee growing and vegetable production to rabbit and pig rearing and small businesses, group members are turning knowledge and collective savings into opportunities for growth. Training and financial linkages are helping members build their confidence, develop business ideas, and work toward more sustainable livelihoods. As Sarah Nizigiye, the group’s president, highlights, women are capable of achieving meaningful progress when they work together and have access to the right opportunities. 💙 Saving together.
