Welcome back to Part 2 of our troubleshooting series on the MINI Cooper S R56 (N14 Engine) low oil pressure at idle!In Part 1, we measured the oil pressure directly from the cylinder head and replaced the oil pump. In this episode, we are diving deeper into the oil filter housing assembly, stripping down components to isolate the root cause. If your oil pressure light is flickering or solid once the engine warms up to operating temperature, this step-by-step breakdown is for you.🔧 Parts & Tools Used Core Oil Components Oil Filter Housing Assembly to Engine Block (8mm bolts): 10 Nm (7.4 ft-lb) (Snug them down evenly in a cross pattern to compress the new rubber gaskets safely). Oil Cooler to Housing (T30 Torx bolts): 12 Nm (9 ft-lb).Oil Filter Cap (27mm/32mm plastic hex): 25 Nm (18 ft-lb) Engine Oil Drain Plug (8mm Allen): 30 Nm (22 ft-lb). Turbo Oil Feed & Return LinesTurbo Oil Feed Line Banjo Bolts (to Turbo & Engine Block): 30 Nm (22 ft-lb) (Always use fresh copper crush washers on both sides of the fitting to avoid critical high-pressure leaks). Turbo Oil Return Line (to Turbo base): 9 Nm (6.6 ft-lb). Turbo Support Bracket to Block: 19 Nm (14 ft-lb). Exhaust / Downpipe Assembly (Removed for Access) Downpipe/Catalytic Converter to Turbo Manifold Studs (Copper Nuts): 25 Nm (18.4 ft-lb). Exhaust V-Band Clamp (Downpipe to Cat-back): 25 Nm (18.4 ft-lb). Turbocharger to Exhaust Manifold Nuts: 20 Nm (14.7 ft-lb). O2 Sensors (Upper & Lower): 50 Nm (37 ft-lb)
