Safe drinking water is a high priority for everyone, and providing communities with sufficient quantities of safe water is something ADRA prides itself on doing in many countries. But how safe really are those water systems? Testing is often only done periodically and at one or two points within the system such as the source. Yet water quality may vary widely with changes in season and weather. Water Safety Plans are a tool that ADRA can use to understand and manage the risks community water systems face at each stage - the source, distribution system, storage points, and right to the point of distribution. This webinar will outline how to do water safety plans with a focus on small communities. You will be able to see that doing water safety plans can be a simple exercise which leads to the supply, distribution, and consumption of good clean water!
