My first day in Tokyo began in the historic streets of Asakusa — one of the best places to experience the traditional side of the city. I explored Senso-ji Temple, walked through the lively streets of Asakusa, and experienced the atmosphere of old Tokyo before heading to one of the city's most impressive modern landmarks: Tokyo Skytree. From traditional temples and narrow streets to a skyline stretching as far as the eye can see, this day showed me two completely different sides of Tokyo.
