That Old Love Song [32:53] Arranged by: Hiromasa Suzuki (1 ~ 6, 8 ~ 9) Makoto Kawaguchi (7, 10) Bought by me, ripped/scanned by squidlin Funk/pop album from singer Keiko Saijo—originally released by VAP Records in 1981, this remained vinyl-only until 2004. I'm not really sure if anybody from VAP was involved with the 2004 release (mastering-wise), but it received its first-ever CD release and to this day is only still available via Keiko Saijo's official website. None of the original pics from the OG release were kept for this release sadly, but as far as audio-quality goes it sounds very good! This was another album I discovered via Instagram—I tried asking my usual go-to proxy if they could order a copy for me... The site ignored the proxy for weeks. The proxy suggested I cancel the order since it didn't seem like they were gonna receive a reply anytime soon, so ultimately, I cancelled it. The site however did respond when a JP user ordered it for me on my behalf, though. Final conclusion? They don't want to sell to foreigners. That's a shame! Usually I refrain from posting certain rips if the music is still available in some way or another but I make exceptions from time to time—this is one of them. I can't say I'll feel bad for uploading this, considering how they treated me 🤭 Anyways, that aside, this was a good album that I enjoyed from start to finish—would easily recommend to listeners of mellow music. Enjoy!!
