16 Projects That Are Transforming Burkina Faso Right Now

Four years ago, Burkina Faso was called a failed state in the making. Today it is building a 332 km expressway with its own money, refining its own gold, growing a million tonnes of rice and armouring its own vehicles. This video walks through 16 projects transforming Burkina Faso under Captain Ibrahim Traoré: the Ouagadougou to Bobo-Dioulasso expressway, Faso Mêbo, the Donsin airport relaunch, Air Burkina, the Pabré power plant, solar and nuclear plans, the national rice drive, the tomato factories, the dairy programme, the TEXFORCES uniform factory, Barka Energies, the Pala hospital, the gold mines, the national gold refinery and the Nanga armoured vehicles. We tell you what's finished, what's under construction and what's only announced. #BurkinaFaso #Traoré #AES #Sahel #AfricaRising #MadeInAfrica
