V.A. - Oi! The Politics

Oi! THE POLITICS Ever since rearing its head in the 70s, Punk politics continue to shape our way of thinking, thanks to outspoken bands unafraid of making a stand. Punk Rock is a social statement... the politics of punk refuse to be condensed into any coherent system or platform despite of hopes of the various groups that it can be used to popularize their cause. Punk political ideologies are mostly concerned with individual freedom & liberty, a DIY ethic, anti-establishment views, non-conformity, anti-authoritarianism, anti-corporatism, anti-government, direct action and not "selling out". International collection of Punk Rock, Oi! Street Punk, Hard Core & Pogo Punk Bands giving their opinion on politics. Hailing from The Netherlands, Sweden, Spain, France, England, Northern Ireland, Italy, Greece, Belgium, Germany, Japan, Trinidad & Tobago and The USA. 00:00 / 01. Discharger - Politics 03:35 / 02.
