Orange Grove 7 Getting to Woody's Room proper

9/20/26. Orange Grove Sink. Wes Skiles Peacock Springs State Park in Florida. 2 diver team of KISS Sidewinder CCR divers. We started at Orange Grove sink with 1 stage each heading for Woody's Room which I had only seen once about 8 years ago and my buddy had never seen. . It is almost 1800ft to Challenge Sink. You jump to the right just before Challenge Sink. We dropped our stage tanks about 400 to 500ft short of Challenge Sink. The line to Woody's Room starts off in large cave but eventually get smaller. It is probably about 1000ft of swimming from the start of the line to Woody's Room but it gets much smaller as you approach Woodys Room. There are a couple of restrictions where you will be bellying through clay within 100ft or less of Woody's Room. This makes the vis for the second diver sub 1 foot and also means the last diver out will have sub 1 ft vis for a couple of hundred feet on the way out generally. You have to be very comfortable and deliberate in no vis situations. I had one hand on the line, and the other was sweeping the ceiling and the walls in front of me to find the way out.
