Homeboy 5K 2026 | Behind the Scenes with Our Running Family

Join us for the Homeboy 5K 2026 in downtown Los Angeles! On September 19, 2026, our family joined the Skid Row Running Club for an amazing morning at Homeboy Industries. This 12-minute raw, unedited recording captures the gathering before the race, with runners coming together, familiar faces, and the incredible community atmosphere surrounding this special event. Walk through the crowd with me as we visit the Homeboy Industries main entrance, café, and shop, meet up with our Skid Row running family, and share a moment with Judge Craig Mitchell. You'll also hear Father Greg's prayer before the race and see Christina and our daughter NM getting ready with the stroller. Ana Isabel takes over filming for a while, capturing more of the gathering and our running community. We also catch up with Brian before ending the recording near the Chinatown Metro Station. No fancy editing, no background music, and no special effects. Just 12 minutes of real moments, conversations, and the people who make our running community so special.
