The cold front had the fish completely shut down… My wife and I hit the water hoping to catch some fish, but it turned into a slow weekend of inshore fishing. We managed to grind out 2 snook, a jack, and a flounder, but the bite definitely wasn’t what we were hoping for. So I went back out the following week looking for redemption — and things got WILD. I managed to catch 2 more snook, but then two absolute MONSTER jacks showed up and completely changed the trip. Both fish were too much to handle and ended up breaking me off.
