The "running through" or wrestling with the sword is a fascinating area of historical European martial arts. In this video, we take the short section of Liechtenauer's verse from MS 3227a, and flush it out with some examples from the Starhemberg Fechtbuch (aka von Danzig). There are many more examples that we do not cover here. As always, these are our interpretations. Your mileage may vary. Please be careful practicing these, as falls are inherently dangerous.
