KESSEL CLASSIC: HOW TO CONCOURS

To preserve or to restore? This is the question, when it comes to dealing with classic collector cars, and even more so when the goal is to win a prestigious Concours of Elegance. After winning a class prize at the Anantara Concorso Roma with a fully restored 275 GTB, the Kessel Classic team spent a few months preparing for the iconic Cavallino Classic Modena. For this documentary, we have followed a Ferrari 250 Europa and a Ferrari 250 Pininfarina Coupé from our workshop bench to the concours lawn, and are glad to share the secrets of two completely different approaches to the world of Concours. The Europa is a rare gem, whose history and patina were preserved with obsessive care to enter the "preservation" class. On the other hand, the Pininfarina Coupé has been fully restored in order to return to the exact state in which it left the factory.
