CRETE 🇬🇷 Windy October in Rethymno | Driving Through the City Before the Rain

October has arrived in Rethymno, Crete – and today the weather definitely feels different. 🇬🇷🌬️ Join me for another real drive through Rethymno on a windy and cloudy October day. We follow the streets along the coast, with the rough sea on one side and everyday city life on the other. The weather has changed surprisingly quickly this year, and it already feels much more like the colder season than we would normally expect this early in October. And things changed even more after I filmed this drive: just two or three hours later, in the evening, heavy rain started falling here in Rethymno. 🌧️ That is also part of life in Crete outside the summer season. One moment there is sunshine between the clouds, then the wind gets stronger, the sea becomes rough – and a few hours later the rain arrives. No perfect postcard weather and no staged holiday scenes.
