Summer Wild Camp at Seal Stones | Kinder Scout

Despite a very wet forecast, I arranged to meet my friend Jon in the Peak District for a wild camp. After parking in Hayfield we ascended onto the Kinder Scout Plateau, and then followed the path to the start of the 7 minute crossing. Once we’d crossed, we headed for Seal Stones where we pitched our shelters and enjoyed a chilled summer wild camp. The next morning the air was still and so the midges made their presence felt, forcing us into a hasty get away! So we followed the edge path until we descended back down to Hayfield via Williams Clough. A great wild camp, and I hope you enjoy.
