EXCELSIOR vs FC GRONINGEN — SIX GOALS IN ROTTERDAM!

Another day, another Dutch football adventure! 🇳🇱⚽ After experiencing Feyenoord at the legendary De Kuip for my first match in the Netherlands, it was time to discover a very different side of Rotterdam football. This time I headed to Excelsior Rotterdam, one of the city's smaller clubs, for their Eredivisie clash with FC Groningen. And what a match I picked! The visitors from Groningen absolutely dominated, putting FIVE goals past Excelsior on their way to a remarkable 5–1 away victory. ⚽🔥 From the smaller, more intimate stadium to the travelling Groningen supporters celebrating a convincing win, this was a completely different experience from my first Dutch matchday. But that's what Six Degrees of Football is all about — discovering different clubs, stadiums, supporters and football cultures, one match at a time. And of course, there's one tradition that follows me everywhere... You wouldn't deny a guy a pre-gamer, would ya? 🍺😎 🏟️ Excelsior Rotterdam vs FC Groningen 📍 Stadion Woudestein, Rotterdam 🇳🇱 Netherlands — Match #2 ⚽ Final score: Excelsior 1–5 Groningen If you're enjoying my football adventures around the world, give the video a like, subscribe and let me know in the comments which club or country I should visit next!
