Hot Toys Ripley and Powerloader

🚨 HOT TOYS HAS FINALLY DONE IT — ELLEN RIPLEY & THE POWER LOADER! 🚨 What is good, 16 Community! Today we're taking a look at the newly announced Hot Toys Ellen Ripley and Power Loader from Aliens! 🔥 Hot Toys is giving collectors TWO options: the complete Ellen Ripley & Power Loader set, as well as the Power Loader by itself. And there are some HUGE upgrades here that make this release incredibly interesting. 👩‍🚀 ELLEN RIPLEY UPGRADES Updated and upgraded Ripley head sculpt More battle damage, including a bloody nose and brow Updated hair and sweat-weathered appearance More heavily weathered and torn clothing New seamless upper torso Reebok shoes with interchangeable sock/foot options 🤖 THE POWER LOADER Approximately 51.5cm / 20 inches tall Incredible weathering and mechanical detailing USB-powered electronics 🔌 Designed to perfectly fit the new Ripley A standard display base is also included with the Ripley & Power Loader set 💰 THE PRICE The Ellen Ripley & Power Loader set is priced at $555, while the Power Loader by itself is $405. That means you're looking at roughly a $150 difference between the Power Loader alone and the complete set. Considering the previous Ripley released at $285, that definitely gives us something to talk about. And while $405 is a hefty price tag for the Power Loader, especially once shipping and taxes are added, this is a centerpiece-level collectible. At roughly 20 inches tall, it's going to take up some serious shelf space! For me, this is an easy pickup. I missed the original Ripley and Power Loader, and I've been waiting for Hot Toys to revisit them. The updated likeness, moving eyes, improved battle damage, upgraded clothing, and USB-powered Power Loader make this a very exciting release. And that Sigourney Weaver likeness? 👀 The new head sculpt completely changed my opinion. The original was already good, but this updated version looks incredible. Now the big question... 🔥 IS THE $405 POWER LOADER WORTH IT? 🔥 IS THE $555 RIPLEY + POWER LOADER SET WORTH THE PRICE? 🔥 ARE YOU FINALLY ADDING ELLEN RIPLEY TO YOUR COLLECTION?
