After waking up at the Mescalero Backcountry Site we made our way down the Marcus Trail to Dog Canyon. Then after a break we refilled our water and went up the Dog Canyon Trail to Lost Peak. From there, we set up camp at the Tejas Backcountry Site. There is so much diversity in Guadalupe Mountains National Park so be sure to check out all 3 of these installments.
