Emotional Farewell to Dr Ashok Mahapatra at AIIMS Bhubaneswar | Final Rites at Puri Swargadwar Description: AIIMS Bhubaneswar paid a heartfelt tribute to renowned neurosurgeon Dr Ashok Mahapatra. The atmosphere turned emotional as AIIMS staff and several prominent personalities gathered to pay their last respects after his mortal remains arrived at the institute. Following the tribute, his body was taken to his native village, Bir Gobindpur, in Puri district. His last rites will be performed at Puri's Swargadwar crematorium in the presence of family members, relatives and well-wishers.
