This documentary tells the complete story of Jeffrey Scullin and the murder of Melinda Pleskovic, from the early events leading up to the crime through to the final sentencing. Invited into the Pleskovic family's home and trusted as a future son-in-law, Jeffrey Scullin appeared to be the perfect partner for Anna Pleskovic. Behind the scenes, however, he was living a lie. As he stole from the family, fabricated burglaries, and made one false promise after another, he continued to portray himself as a successful and dependable future husband. But when the truth about his finances, wedding plans, and future began to unravel, the web of deception he had built came crashing down, ending in tragedy. This video covers the complete timeline of the case, the events leading up to the homicide, the investigation, interrogations, pretrial proceedings, change of plea, sentencing, and the aftermath of a case that devastated an entire family.
