Addhyaya 4 | Shlokas 1–5 | The Eternal Wisdom of Karma Yoga | The Divine Origin of the Bhagavad Gita

ॐ श्रीगुरुमहेशाय नमः 🙏 Shrimad Bhagavad Gita – Chapter 4 | Shlokas 1 to 5 In the beginning of Chapter 4 – Jñāna Karma Sannyāsa Yoga, Lord Krishna reveals to Arjuna the ancient and eternal wisdom of Karma Yoga. Krishna explains that this timeless teaching was first given to Vivasvān (the Sun God), who passed it on through a succession of great teachers. Over time, however, this knowledge became lost, and Krishna now reveals it once again to Arjuna. This raises an important question for Arjuna: How could Krishna have taught this wisdom in ancient times when Krishna appears to have been born in the present age?
