SUPER MARIO BROS. 40TH Kyoto Marathon 2026 - Virtual Run - Video for Treadmill

This is a video to provide scenery to your treadmill workout. Experience the thrill of an marathon from the comfort of your home! This was filmed during the SUPER MARIO BROS. 40TH Kyoto Marathon 2026. This race was featuring a special celebration for the 40th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. The course starts at TAKEBISHI Stadium Kyoto (Nishikyogoku Athletic Park) and finishes at a point near Heian-jingu Shrine. Passing by seven UNESCO World Cultural Heritage sites, runners can fully enjoy the attractions of Kyoto's picturesque scenery, including spectacular views of the five mountains on which huge bonfires are lit during the Gozan no Okuribi summer festival. I filmed the race in 4K60 with a head-mounted GoPro. ▬ Race Information ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Date : 2026-02-15 Weather : 19°C Cloudy/Sunny Location : Kyoto, Japan Distance : 42.2 km Duration : 234 minutes D+ : 225m Official Results : Marathon: 3h54m29s Overall: 3,038/14,757 Age Group: 536/1,713 ▬ Contents of this video ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 0:00 - Intro 0:55 - Start 48:37 - 10K 1:45:16 - Half 2:34:26 - 30K 3:21:50 - 40K 3:34:26 - Finish
