Read description first Doing masked Kirby's Classic Mode run. "The coin," Palutena said, holding a coin right in front of her eyes. "Two sides govern its foundation. With a simple flip, a side is revealed that mirrors the other side. The same could be said about all people in the many universes, who have a half somewhere else, usually living quite close by...or sometimes separated by many miles...to say that people underestimate the belief that there is someone else like them somewhere is baffling, since we all have that other side to the coin side we represent..." "You want us to grade you on that speech or something?" Viridi asked. Palutena giggled and tossed the coin away. "It'd be nice, yes. Anyway, that's the theme for Meta Knight's route, where he battles against people with two sides of the same coin, be their positive or negative. Though...he has like three sides," she said. "There's Kirby, Galacta Knight, and Dark Meta Knight. That's a threefer! I wish I could have that many!" "Two out of those three sides want to end me," Meta Knight said. "It still counts for the theme. It's quite an interesting thing to think about," Palutena said. "My other side of my coin was Medusa, until Viridi took over, until Hades took over, until I was left with no side." "H-hey! What's that supposed to mean about me not being your other side?!" Viridi complained. "We stand in direct opposition of each other!" "And yet we're here karting together with Bowser." "...Ugh!" Viridi pouted. "Chris here also has his other side," Palutena said. "I do?" Chris asked. "Oh, you're going to say Lucario." "Why, yes. You're smart and he's super strong. You're slow and he's super fast. You're a human and he's super monstrous. You're ugly and he's super handsome." Flustered, Chris said, "W-what th-?! Ugly?! T-that's so mean to say!" "Oh, please. You're...probably sort of my type. I don't know. I was just trying to extend the theme a bit longer," she teased. Chris was never going to forget that disturbing thought. "...So you think his enslaved dog is handsome?" Viridi wondered. "I don't know. Maybe? I mean, he surely is a catch to a lot of species," Palutena said. "Pokémon are wild animals. Maybe they like dig super strength? Anyhow, we..." She noticed Meta Knight was gone. "Where'd he go?" "He said he didn't want to take more part on your segment when you completely veered off from his attention, and he totally speculated you trying to get his mask," Chris said. "...Smart move." Palutena scoffed. "It's no fun when you guys can read me like a book," she complained, much to Viridi and Chris's joy. Key Notes: Classic Mode Overview (repeated in every other character video) Unlike before, you will never start your difficulty at the maximum difficulty (9.9). The limit you can start is at 5.0. However, depending on how well you do in every fight, the difficulty will steadily increase. The factors that contribute an increase are if you... 1) ...finished the fight as quickly as possible. 2) ...didn't stay put or mess around. 3) ...actually managed to avoid damage altogether (meaning a perfect run, which doesn't really guarantee an extra point). At best, you can get a whole point (or more) added to difficulty. At worst, you get nothing. "Nice Plays" may just be compliments that usually are around 0.8 additions. Do your best to get to the end of the mural. Using tickets avoids losing difficulty, but in case the difficulty is still increasing, you'll get a 0.1 increase if you win a match...and never reach 9.9. Oh, and you only get ONE life. Lose it, and you'll either spend money to continue while losing difficulty, use a Ticket without the drawback, or simply give up. Meta Knight's Final Boss The masters of the sides of a coin...the hands. Meta Knight suffers from having to rack up damage as quickly as possible. He's got quick hits, but you need to connect lots of them to leave significant dents. When the hands are down, use his down Smash in hopes of the sweep to strike twice. "Ahh, Snake," Palutena said. "Yet another example of a side from one coin." "Well, pretty much a lot of the fighters have another side," Viridi said. "Snake's excuse is being a clone." "I wish I had a clone," Palutena said. She got wincing stares. "I am pretty unique and need no body doubles," Viridi said proudly. "No clones for me. There should be only one me," Chris said. "...Plus, a second me would probably drive Lucario nuts." "Eh. He'll probably tell right away which one is real and neglect the clone, ending up with a pretty heartwarming story of existential crisis and a true epic tale as the clone comes to realize what he must live for to enjoy its life," Palutena mused and found the idea rather.... "...Chris, clone yourself." "NO!" Chris scolded. Watch, enjoy, and comment, everyone.
