Revelation - Arvin Thalos | Apocalypse=Revelation

Do you know that feeling? You have an impulse to write something, or you've created something, and it needs that final polish, and you know perfectly well it won't work because the time isn't right yet? That's exactly how it is with this song. I wrote it exactly seven months ago, but I couldn't find the right version. Then the impulse came: Now. Someone should hear this song and trigger something. An insight? A feeling? The missing piece of the puzzle? I don't know, but now is the time. Some might recognize it :) The song came about because of the thought... If the apocalypse isn't destruction but merely a revelation, and we've created a special new course, what might it look like? If everything is revealed, then not just the dark machinations. The revelation of each individual. I come to this same point so often. If there is no external destruction at all, can we, each and every one of us, simply continue living as we are? Or will our true selves only be revealed through certain processes of "destruction" following the collapse of the old world as we know it? Our system is duality. Even if we manage to navigate within this polarity, the system remains duality, doesn't it? I see different processes and timelines: one without suffering, another with little suffering and destruction, and another with much destruction. I firmly believe that we shouldn't let fear win. Because, assuming we die, only our existence in this world ends, not our being. I have lived through the phrase "Die before you die" because of my life story, my experiences, and my own upheavals in this existence. And this experience I've gained has shown me that no matter what happens in the outside world, you yourself can decide where you go. Every feeling is indeed just a feeling. That doesn't make it any less "real," but you are not your emotion. If you imagine the apocalypse is terrible and live with/in fear, aren't you creating that very reality for yourself? Not to mention that our quantum energy is being drained. I believe that self-revelation is also the hardest and most honest revelation there is. Because it takes a lot of courage. "BEING" in one's existence can only exist if one carries one's truth outward. Revealing oneself. Unveiling oneself. Are you honest with yourself and those around you? Are you living your truth? And just as a side note, just because I recognize these patterns doesn't mean I can always put them into practice. I'm also on my own journey and trying to live my own truth, which includes courage, reflection, and a good heart. What I've learned is that I don't have to pretend or stay silent to be liked. I can live very well if someone doesn't. Because in this form of existence, in our roles, it seems important to us to have "achieved" something or to be "right." For me, the question is rather, what am I showing you that motivates you to have something negative towards me? So, what is the revelation? A revelation of everything that happens in the world. And I think it won't be that simple. What matters is what you make of it.
