Calling out to Aura - Moog Mothership /w Moog Grandmother & Matriarch

"Calling out to Aura" is an electronic soundtrack for a greek myth. It's a live performance on the Moog semi modular instruments. The myth: Cephalus was a handsome hunter who was happily married to Procris. After exhausting himself during long hunts, he would rest in the shade and call out to the cool wind to refresh him, shouting, "Come, Aura, soothe me." A passerby overheard Cephalus calling out the name "Aura". Believing "Aura" was a secret lover or nymph Cephalus was cheating with, the stranger immediately carried this gossip back to his wife, Procris. Heartbroken and suspicious, Procris secretly followed Cephalus into the woods on his next hunt. As he lay down and called out "Come, Aura" once again, Procris wept in hiding. Hearing a rustle in the bushes, Cephalus assumed it was a wild animal and threw his magical javelin, accidentally killing his wife. The music: Two Dfams make the kick and snare sounds. One Mother 32 was used to create a hi-hat sound and the labyrinth also delivers a noise based percussion sound. The Subharmonicon makes a rhythmic chord pattern and the Spectravox is filtering and modulating the sound as a filter bank. Three Mother 32s are used for there melodic themes that are mixed and sometimes muted via an Allan & Heath mixer while arranging the song live during the performance. The Grandmother delivers a bass. The Matriarch was added for chords and lead melodies. All synths run through an Alan & Heath mixer and are being recorded as a stereo sum in Ableton Live. I've used Ozone 12 for mastering the track.
