In the archer’s sights – Epic Dark Fantasy Alt Rock

Hey! Welcome! This song is based on an idea that one of my subscribers gave me. I created a story about an archer who meets Shiro, one of my own characters from my story. In a way, the archer’s story takes place in the same world as mine. I hope you enjoy it! Leave a like and subscribe! Here are the lyrics: THE ARCHER [Intro] In the snow I stood, guarding the gate, With a bow in my hands, staring down fate. I was just a guard, with no glory or crown, Until the monsters came and tore my city down. [Verse 1] I heard the bells, I heard the thunder, Claws tore through the walls like they were made of paper. I ran to the square, ready to fight, But there were too many creatures crawling through the night. I pulled my string, took aim without fear, One arrow through the chest, another monster disappeared. But ten became twenty, then more came again, And the strength in my body was fading away. My comrades fell, their blood stained the snow, The city I loved had nowhere to go. I tried to resist, I refused to retreat, But alone in that night, I was facing defeat. [Pre-Chorus] Then a shadow appeared through the snow, A wounded girl with a blade in her hold. She looked at me without showing fear: "If you can still fight, Then fight, soldier." [Chorus] I pull my bow, take aim and fire, The arrow flies, taking me higher. From far away, I hunt, I won't retreat, Cross my path, and you'll taste defeat. I pull my bow, feel the cold wind pass, Close one eye, let my vision lock fast. Shiro moves forward, I guard her back, As long as I have arrows, no one gets through our attack. One arrow! One target! One deadly shot! The sound of the string tells them what I've got. Bring all your monsters, bring thousands more, I'll keep on firing till they're no more. Pull my bow... Take aim... Fire! And let my arrow find its destiny! [Verse 2] She was wounded, but she wouldn't break, Even bleeding, she kept fighting awake. Every strike she made shook the ground, And the harder she fought, the stronger she became. I covered her steps from far away, My arrows cutting through the night and day. She cleared the path without fear of pain, And for the first time, I wanted to fight again. I didn't know her name, I didn't know her past, But I knew that her spirit was built to last. She saw me falling and reached out her hand, And pulled me back up so I could still stand. [Pre-Chorus 2] Then the greatest monster finally came, Eyes like a beast and a body made of pain. My hand was shaking, I started to hesitate, She looked straight at me: "Now take aim." [Bridge] The gates were broken, My oath was gone. There was no one left To protect or carry on. Shiro looked at me and asked: "Are you staying here?" I looked at the ruins. Then I looked at my bow. And finally I understood: We are like bows, fragile on the outside, But carrying a strength the world can't recognize. The more they break us, the stronger we become, The harder they pull us, the farther we'll run. Two wounded souls, marked by the pain, Turning every scar into strength again. They can try to break us, they can make us fall, But the more they pull us... The farther we'll fly! [Final Chorus] I pull my bow, take aim and fire, The arrow flies, taking me higher.
