GOD HAS A CALLING ON YOUR LIFE — HERE'S HOW TO RECOGNIZE IT | Pastor Josh Howerton

Have you ever wondered why God put you here — and what He actually created you to do? Many people spend years searching for purpose through a career, success, money, recognition, or achievement. But Scripture reveals something deeper: your life was created with purpose. In Exodus 3, Moses was 80 years old when God interrupted his ordinary life through the burning bush and called him into something far greater than he imagined. His age, past, weakness, and uncertainty did not prevent God from calling him. In this powerful biblical message, Josh Howerton explores how believers can begin recognizing God's calling through three important areas: 🔥 AFFINITY — What breaks your heart? What burden or need continually captures your attention? 🔥 ABILITY — What has God equipped you to do? Your gifts and abilities may point toward where you can serve. 🔥 OPPORTUNITY — What doors has God placed in front of you? Sometimes calling begins with faithfully responding to the opportunity already available. Maybe you've been thinking: “I'm too old.” “I've made too many mistakes.” “I'm not talented enough.” “God could never use someone like me.” Moses' story challenges those assumptions. God's calling does not depend upon you possessing everything you need before you begin. The message ultimately points back to the I AM—the God who calls people and remains with them as they step forward in faith. Your career isn't necessarily your calling. Your paycheck isn't your purpose. Your past doesn't have to determine what God can do through your future. You have a purpose. The question is whether you're willing to recognize it and take the next step.
